The Price Moot in Oxford, founded in 2007, is one of the 7 Grand Slam moots that SMU participates in regularly. With more than 100 teams participating annually, it is the world’s largest and most prestigious moot on the freedom of expression and related human rights such as freedom of religion and privacy. SMU has the best track record in this moot, having reached the final 8 times, won the championship 4 times, won Finals Best Oralist 4 times, and won Best Memorials 3 times. It is also the only university to have successfully defended the championship, the second such time in the history of Grand Slam international moots, and was the youngest ever university to have won the moot. Regional rounds were mandated for Singapore teams beginning 2019/20, and SMU has won both championships so far.

Allen Chong, Pethuel Ho, Naomi Lim, Jodi Siah, Tan Yoong San, Terence Yeo represented SMU in the 13th edition of this grand slam moot. In the Asia-Pacific regional, the team emerged as champions after rounds against China, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The team also won Best Memorials. The team also won Best Memorials. For the oral phase - which had to be held online because of the pandemic - the team defeated Oxford in the championship final to claim the title. Terence was named Finals Best Oralist, while Jodi and Naomi were also ranked in the Top 10.
