The PAX Moot in Europe, founded in 2017, is one of the rare moots focusing entirely on private international law or conflict of laws. SMU reached the championship final on its debut in 2020, and won in 2021, becoming the youngest ever law school to do so.

Latest Highlights
Jill Lim, Grace Sim, Warren Tian, and Keith Toh represented SMU in the 2021 PAX moot and won the championship after winning all six matches. The team, coached by Nicholas Poon '11, Huo Jiongrui '20, Rennie Whang '20, and Marrisa Daisy Decruz '20, also won a Best Memorial prize.
