The Stetson Environmental Law Moot, founded in 1996, is the flagship moot for international environmental law. On its full debut in 2021, SMU won the Asia-Pacific championship, becoming the youngest university to do so.
Latest Highlights
Lieu Kah Yen, Aaron Tan, and Tan Jia Le represented SMU in the 25th edition of this moot. It won the Asia-Pacific regional championship, and also won Best Oralist awards in the preliminary and championship rounds. In the international rounds, the team reached the quarter-final and also won a Best Oralist prize.
