The Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot in Hong Kong, founded in 2003, is one of the world's largest regional moots with more than 100 teams participating annually. SMU has reached the international championship final 3 times, and has also won numerous Best Oralist and Best Memorial prizes. It was the youngest ever university to have reached the final and also the youngest to have won it.

Latest Highlights
The 2022 team comprising Meher Malhotra, Alyssa Tang, and Soh Zu Hua won the championship after five rounds of competition against Mongolia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand. The team was coached by Kartik Singh ’18, Lyndon Seow ’20, and Tan Bae Huey ’20. Bill Puah ’24 acted as assistant.
