The Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot in Hong Kong, founded in 2003, is one of the world's largest regional moots with more than 100 teams participating annually. SMU has won this moot twice, and has also won numerous Best Oralist and Best Memorial prizes. It was the youngest ever university to have reached the final and also the youngest to have won it.

Latest Highlights
John Hoy and Damien Teo represented SMU in the 23rd edition of this moot, and won the championship after five rounds of competition. Damien was named Best Oralist in the championship match, while John was named 2nd Best Oralist in the general rounds. The team was supported by Eugene Ho and Ryan Tan, and coached by Chen Lixin’19 and Ezra Lim’24.
