The Computational Law Moot, founded in 2020, sought to be the first moot conducted remotely – even before remote moots were introduced during the covid pandemic. In 2021, SMU became the youngest ever law to school to reach the championship final. It reached the final again in 2022.
Latest Highlights
The SMU team comprising Emelyn Aw, Jeremy Chai, and Ethan Lee reached the semifinal of the 2nd edition of this moot, with the team also winning Best Memorials. The SMU team comprising Ferrell Chee, Dawn Wee, and Adel Zaid Hamzah reached the championship final, with Dawn winning Best Oralist. The teams were coached by Chia Chen Wei'18 and Nicholas Liu '14.
