The 2021 Essex Court Chambers-SAL Moot concluded with SMU International Moots alum Chow Zi En and Wong Yan Yee taking the championship. The other finalists, Jayakumar Suryanarayanan and Andrea Seet, were also graduates of SMU and IM alum. This year, 20+ teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong took part. SMU alum first participated in 2012 and since then, 19 have appeared in the final, with 10 taking the chip and 3 winning Best Oralist.
