NUJS MEDIATION COMPETITION

The school congratulates our LLBs for their excellent performance in the 4th edition of the NUJS Mediation Competition held on 11 to 13 March 2022. Raelee Toh, Isabelle Lim and Koo Guo Xiang’s team emerged as 2nd runner-up (negotiation category), while Prakhunwicha Sararaksh, William Leow Chun Yang and Chan Yee Khang’s team won 1st runner-up (mediation category) and were quarter-finalists (negotiation category). Special thanks also goes out to coaches Benedict Koh (LLB, 2021), Caitlin Chong, Erik Nam and Patricia Tan!


A team comprising Year 2 LLBs Mr Julian Loke E-qen, Ms Ivy Hu Zhong Qi, Ms Rei Tan Jing Yi, and their coach, Year 4 LLB Mr Benedict Koh, performed outstandingly in the 3rd edition of the NUJS Mediation Competition held on 7-9 May 2021. The team emerged as the Champion and 1st Runner-Up amongst 28 teams in the Negotiation and Mediation categories respectively. Ivy was awarded the prize of Best Mediator in the Preliminary Rounds, while Rei and Julian jointly received the Special Award for Best Negotiation Opening Statement.
