ADVOCATE MAXIMUS COMPETITION

The inaugural Advocate Maximus competition was held in New Delhi, India from 19–23 December 2018. The first edition of this competition featured 24 teams that had to advocate in both an arbitration and mediation setting. The SMU team comprising Ang Teng Da, Chua Shu Ying, Chua Zhan Teng, Sherman Poon Yi Jie and Thong Ying Xuan emerged 1^st-runner-up after five rounds of competition. They were coached by SMU alumni Dexter Leow, Darren Lim and Andy Yeo. For the 2019 edition of the competition, SMU's team came in 2^nd-runner up.
