SK MISRA INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION & NEGOTIATION COMPETITION

A team comprising Chen Yanwen, Bernadette Teo Yi Ting and Elizabeth Ho Li Hui, who were coached by Slevin Chua, William Leow and Chloe Lee Jian En, obtained 6 awards in the SK Misra International Mediation and Negotiation Competition held on 25 to 27 March, including Best Mediation Advocacy, Best Mediation Plans, Best Creative Solution and Best Opening Statement. Another team comprising Ng Xin Yu, Chan Yee Khang and Rauf Hannan Azizi (coached by Prakhunwicha Sararaksh, Erik Nam and Patricia Tan Seok Kee) were quarter-finalists in the mediation category.


The school congratulates our students for their excellent performance in SMU’s debut participation in the SK Misra International Mediation and Negotiation Competition 2.0 held in March 2021. The first team comprising LLBs Vanessa Renee Ng Min, Yap An-Yi & Erik Nam Chng Hou was shortlisted for the negotiation octa-rounds out of close to 100 participating teams. Erik Nam emerged as first runner-up under the mediator category and was also awarded the Spirit of the SK Misra Competition. The second team comprising LLBs Marcus Lee Han Le, Neo Yu Fan and Caitlin Chong Hui Ning was also shortlisted for the negotiation octa-rounds.
