Lexicon

Lexicon, SMU's student legal publication club, was established in 2017 by a team of SMU students passionate about keeping up with and commenting on developments in the law.

Lexicon edits and collates articles for the Singapore Law Journal – SMU Law’s inaugural legal publication, and publishes other pieces on its student-run blog. The club’s other initiatives include collaborations with the Supreme Court, under which students pen case summaries and articles, as well as a writing competition aimed at lower-year students.

Through its various initiatives, Lexicon hopes to encourage students to hone their legal writing and research skills.
