Corporate and Commercial Law Club (COCO)

The SMU Corporate & Commercial Law Club is a student-led law club that aims to promote the corporate and commercial aspects of legal practice among students. We organise competitions and events like sharing sessions on training contract and internship applications, as well as create bite-sized information (contract explanatory notes, infographics, practice area write-ups etc) for the student population.

The Club's annual flagship events include the Restructuring Negotiation Competition (Organised by SMU and Supported by BlackOak LLC) and the WongPartnership Transaction Competition. Our competitions aim to give students a chance to hone their negotiation skills, and facilitate inter-university interactions by extending invitations to NUS law students to participate in our competitions.
