TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Applicants should be highly proficient in English.
  2. Applicants from overseas are not entitled to apply for a Student Visa. They will be required to apply for their own visa/pass by referring to the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website at https://www.ica.gov.sg/.
  3. Enrolment is subject to approval. A written confirmation will be sent via email to successful applicants approximately one to two weeks before the start of the Term.
  4. Save in limited circumstances prescribed by SMU Law Academy in writing, auditees will not be permitted to undertake the formal assessment modes (such as individual/group assignments, individual/group presentations, quizzes, or final examinations) for the course, and are expected to abide by the guidelines of the respective course instructors on class participation.
  5. Auditees have the following privileges at SMU Libraries:
    • Loan privileges of 12 physical items for 21 days (including one reserve item for three hours use within the libraries).
    • Access to selected electronic databases (Westlaw, Lexis Advance, LawNet, JSTOR and HeinOnline).
  6. Auditees will not have access to SMU sports or other facilities.
  7. SMU Law Academy reserves the right of cancellation. Full refund will be given to an applicant if the application is unsuccessful or if the applied-for course is cancelled. We regret that no refund will be given in any other circumstances.
