Dear SMU Community
I am pleased to announce that Associate Professor Gary CHAN Kok Yew has been appointed as the Director, Juris Doctor Programme starting 1 August 2016. Please join me in congratulating Gary on his new appointment.
Gary takes over from Professor David Smith, who has served as Director since the inception of the JD Programme in 2009. In that role, David has made very significant contributions to the growth of the programme and the School of Law. I would like to extend my profound thanks to David for his contribution. We are grateful that David will continue to lend his experience and support to the School.
