Building a Safe and Inclusive Digital World Together: Vision and Transformation

Synopsis

Technology has revolutionised the way we connect, work and conduct business. In the last two years, the global COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated digitalisation across the sectors. Whilst digitalisation has brought about new commercial opportunities and profound societal benefits, it has also brought to the fore risks and gaps in the digital world, for example, cyberattacks, trust and privacy concerns, unequal access to digitalisation (and therefore the opportunities it promises), and the need for a coherent plan to manage the impact of digitalisation on society and the environment. Innovation and collaboration based on a clear vision is needed to help Singapore and the wider region navigate the challenges, manage the risks and harness the full benefits of digitalisation. The 2022 edition of the Dentons Rodyk Dialogue brings together a distinguished panel of experts to share their insights on building a safe and inclusive digital world together.
