The biennial Journal of Private International Law Conference is hosted by YPHSL on 3 to 5 August 2023. The speakers are from all over the world, covering a wide range of issues on all aspects of private international law. There will be panel sessions on issues such as emerging technology, sustainability and the environment and regional and global developments in private international law. Papers will consider, inter alia, recent developments such as the Hague Judgments Convention and the Hague Jurisdiction Project.

SILE Attendance Policy
Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, participants are reminded to sign in on arrival and sign out at the conclusion of each day of the event in the manner required by the organiser. Participants must not be absent from each day of the event for more than 15 minutes. Participants who attend Day 1 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 3.5 Public CPD Points. Participants who attend Day 2 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 6.5 Public CPD Points. Participants who attend Day 3 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 3.5 Public CPD Points. Participants who do not comply with the Attendance Policy on any particular day of the event will not be able to obtain CPD Points for that day. In the course of the event, screenshots / photographs / videos / interviews of participants could be taken/conducted by the organizers or parties appointed by the organisers for the purpose of post-event publicity, either in the organisers' official publication/website, social media platforms or any third party's publication/website/social media platforms approved by the organisers.
