SYNOPSIS

In this 2-hour webinar, legal professionals will be introduced to the latest advancements in AI reasoning models, including OpenAI's o1/o3, DeepSeek's R1, and Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking. The session provides an introductory overview of how these next-generation models differ from older systems like ChatGPT-4 and Gemini 1.5, focusing on their enhanced reasoning, self-correction, and ability to handle massive amounts of data.

Participants will learn practical prompting strategies tailored to these advanced models, including how to provide detailed context, leverage large input windows, and capitalise on their built-in agentic workflows. The webinar also covers how to use their deep research workflows - using integrated tool use, web search capabilities, and planning behaviour - to support comprehensive research.

By the end of the session, attendees will gain insights into how these state-of-the-art AI tools can improve legal practice and streamline research processes while understanding the importance of human oversight in AI-assisted legal work.
