Intellectual Property in Trade and Digital Commerce

SYNOPSIS

Alibaba, The McCarthy Institute and the SMU Centre for Digital Law jointly present this one-day international seminar to be held in Singapore on 28 August 2025.

Through insightful discussions by leading voices from industry, academia and policy from around the world, we will delve into the complexities of AI litigation, learn about the emerging solutions in IP dispute resolution in the digital era, and understand how empowerment through IP awareness raising can drive economic growth and competitiveness for smaller businesses. IP Attachés in Southeast Asia will cap the session by gathering for a fireside chat to share their roles and experiences in promoting international collaboration and support for IPR abroad.

Join us for thought-provoking discussions on the future of digital commerce, and take the opportunity to engage with experts, exchange ideas, and expand your professional network.
