The Future of Capital Markets: Navigating Change in Singapore and Beyond

Capital markets are undergoing a fundamental transformation. Globally, traditional avenues such as public listings are witnessing a decline, with IPO volumes slowing as companies stay private longer and access capital through alternative routes. Simultaneously, private markets—including venture capital, private equity, and private credit—are expanding rapidly, reshaping the landscape of investment and corporate financing.

The Dentons Rodyk Dialogue 2025 seeks to examine the future of capital markets, exploring how changes in capital markets and fundraising methods may affect Singapore’s position as an international financial centre. It will also discuss different legal, market and institutional reforms that can enhance the international competitiveness of Singapore’s capital markets.

By bringing together industry experts, leading scholars, and market participants, this event will serve as a platform to develop evidence-based strategies for attracting IPOs, revitalising the Singapore Exchange, and reimagining the future of capital markets in Singapore, Asia and beyond.
