| Academic year | August to April (1 yr full-time / 2 yrs extended duration) | August to April *The Part-time LL.M. is a two-year programme. Part-time students attend the same classes as full-time students, but complete the programme over a longer duration with greater flexibility in their course schedule. LL.M. classes are conducted on weekdays only, with modules scheduled during either the daytime or the evening. There are no weekend classes. The Programme Office will endeavour to offer evening classes where possible. However, this cannot be guaranteed, as class schedules are subject to overall programme planning and resource allocation. Applicants should note that part-time study does not mean that all classes are held in the evenings or on weekends. Part-time students are expected to attend daytime classes when required and should make the necessary work or personal arrangements to accommodate the published class schedule. | January to April the following year (16 months full-time) | |

| English Language Proficiency | Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS) is required for all international applicants except those from English-medium institutions in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Philippines, United Kingdom and the United States. The minimum English proficiency test requirement is as follows:
1) Test scores are valid for two (2) years from the test date and applicants should ensure their scores remain valid at the beginning of the application period of for the LL.M. track applied for. 2) TOEFL Institutional Testing Program (ITP), TOEFL MyBest Scores, IELTS One-skill Retake and Duolingo English Test are not accepted. 3) Applicants intending to take the proficiency test are advised to schedule their test sufficiently early to ensure that their score reports are available before the closing date for the submission of supporting documents. Only official score reports are accepted. | |||
