Pasha L. Hsieh is Lee Kong Chian Professor of Law and Jean Monnet Chair at Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law, where he heads the United Nations University Hub on Green and Digital Regionalism. Prior to academia, he served as a Legal Affairs Officer at the WTO Appellate Body Secretariat in Geneva and practiced at Shearman & Sterling in Washington, D.C. His research spans international economic law, public international law, and Asian legal studies. His monograph New Asian Regionalism in International Economic Law (Cambridge University Press) has been translated into Chinese and Japanese. Hsieh was recently elected to the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law. He sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of International Economic Law and is a panel member of the Hong Kong Research Grants Council. He has won research grants from the European Commission, the Korea Foundation, the Sumitomo Foundation of Japan, and the Ministries of Education of Singapore and Taiwan.
