Yip Man is a Professor of Law and the V3 Group Professor in Family Entrepreneurship at Yong Pung How School of Law. Her research interests are in private law (with focus on equity and trusts, restitution, and contract law), private international law and dispute resolution. She considers legal reforms and developments through context-based and comparative lenses. Her work has been cited by the Singapore Court of Appeal, Singapore High Court, Singapore International Commercial Court and the High Court of England and Wales. She is the Academic Editor of Singapore Academy of Law Journal, the Co-General Editor of Singapore Academy of Law Annual Review, a member of the International Advisory Board of Legal Studies, Co-Series Editor of Hart Publishing's Private International Law Studies in Asia, and contributor to Asia Pacific Digest (Unjust Enrichment), Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly.
