About Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
The School of Law at the Singapore Management University launched its Continuing Legal Education (CLE) on 1 May 2010.
The main objective of the CLE is to organise and conduct professional and executive programmes that are not only of relevance to legal profession in the practice of the law, but also of interest to the larger legal community. In addition, we hope that our seminars and workshops will provide the platform for members of the legal fraternity to interact and exchange views for the benefit of the legal community.
The CLE also offers customization of programmes to meet the needs of a particular law firm or organisation.
CLE instructors include full-time faculty members of the School of Law, visiting faculty, adjunct faculty as well as other senior practitioners.
CLE also administers the Auditing Programme for applicants to audit selected courses in our LL.B. and J.D. programmes. The Auditing Programme enables members of the legal profession to consolidate and upgrade their understanding of the law and to keep abreast of significant developments in particular areas of law. Participants will be able to select from an exciting list of law core modules and electives.
