BACHELOR OF LAWS
The LL.B. is a 4-year meritorious honours programme with 36 course units worth of courses, comprising a careful mix of University Core courses, Law Core courses, Law-related courses, Law electives as well as General Education courses to ensure that graduates possess the desired contextual and cross-border knowledge and expertise.

JURIS DOCTOR
The J.D. programme is a full-time 3-year programme, comprising 22 courses totaling 25 course units. The programme may be accelerated in some cases for completion within 2 to 2.5 years subject to the approval of the J.D. Committee.

MASTER OF LAWS
The SMU programme leverages upon the niche areas of expertise of the faculty and distinguished visitors, such as in comparative law, conflict of laws, dispute resolution, and Islamic law and finance. Courses are taught exclusively to postgraduate students and in the characteristic SMU seminar style, providing a rich environment for exchange and discussion, and the acceleration of learning.

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION
The main objective of the CLE is to organise and conduct professional and executive programmes that are not only of relevance to the legal profession in the practice of the law, but also of interest to the larger legal community.
